Truth be told, it's not actually that great a game - it can pretty much be summed as 'visit beautiful alien worlds and kill everything that moves' - but the visuals are spectacular. Real time weather, and day/night cycles mean that even the same location changes dramatically between visits. Just have a look at the screen grabs below to get a feel for how gorgeous the game is, of course when you're actually playing, the copious use of lens flare, smoke and dust etc brings it all to beautiful life.
