You might remember that I recently posted about Zen Clock, an app that I'd been involved in. Well if you liked the look of it, but were too stingy to buy it (that's OK - time's are hard), then I've got good news for you - there's now a version you can download and try out of FREE.
Merry Christmas 2014
This year I designed a few variations on a theme for my digital Xmas card and sent them out randomly - here's all four.
Merry Christmas everybody!
eCommerce for Business graphics
As part of this project for eCommerce Futures, I had to adapt my initial banner design to fit all the different shapes and sizes of collateral required for the event.
Microsoft Ventures The Pitch
Here's some of the (many) event graphics I did for The Microsoft Ventures The Pitch event happening today organised by the wonderful folk at Forgather...
Zen Clock
I just thought you might be interested in a new app called Zen Clock by Alamax that I've helped design.
The latest version just went live in the Mac App Store yesterday. Basically Zen Clock automatically changes the colour of your desktop based on the time of day - dark at night and brighter colours during the day. You can choose from an assortment of textures and graphical overlays to customise the experience - as you can see in these examples.
It supports multiple monitors & desktops and is a great way of subliminally marking the passing of time as you work at your Mac - as well as looking rather nice.
Find out more or treat yourself to a copy here.
The App Lab 50 Apps and counting
A little graphic I created to help The App Lab celebrate the launch of their 50th app
The Art of Destiny
Destiny is the latest game by Bungie, the company responsible for the incredibly popular Halo series...
Truth be told, it's not actually that great a game - it can pretty much be summed as 'visit beautiful alien worlds and kill everything that moves' - but the visuals are spectacular. Real time weather, and day/night cycles mean that even the same location changes dramatically between visits. Just have a look at the screen grabs below to get a feel for how gorgeous the game is, of course when you're actually playing, the copious use of lens flare, smoke and dust etc brings it all to beautiful life.
eCommerce for Business banner
Another banner I designed for the upcoming eCommerce for Business event organised by eCommerce Futures.
Balderton Capital AGM
I was recently asked to help with some stencil style graphics to liven up Balderton Capital's AGM...
Wallpaper collection
You may remember that I used to create a Desktop Calendar Wallpaper each month. Well, life got a bit hectic and I missed a couple of months – the world didn’t end and I wasn’t swamped with angry requests for the missing wallpapers, so I decide to stop doing them. One less thing to stress about every month and all that…
However, I have had several requests to make certain wallpapers available without the calendar info which sort of defeats the object but makes perfect sense at the same time – if you like one of the images why limit using it to a month?
So I’ve collected the images from all the calendars I ever did, removed the text and saved them out into one handy zip you can download here or by clicking on the image above – enjoy.
